Baby Bash - Suga Suga (Arman Cekin & PLS&TY Remix)

Ahh yess, last post for this music collective project: LOVE It Gently Roughly. I do love these throwbacks getting a refresh treatment :D

Enjoy, Live and Love It ^_^

Yung Bae - How I Feel About You

Oh Yung Bae gets you with this Feels Jam. And because the beach makes me calm, relaxed and refreshed, it's the same when I'm with you.

Sweater Beats - Young In Love

Nothing like the talented Sweater Beats giving us a lovely treat for Valentine's Day. Hey, even though it's a day past Valentine's Day, doesn't mean I don't have to stop showing my love, caring and sharing :D

Aaliyah - Are You That Somebody (Nehzuil Edit/Remix)

Happy Valentine's Day everyone! Enjoy this amazing remix of Aaliyah's Are You That Somebody by Nehzuil. So dank! So many layers of nostalgia in this one. Instant re-classic!

Ellie Goulding - Starry Eyed (Instant Party! Remix)

Next thing we're touching
Next thing we're touching
Next thing we're touching
You look at me it's like you hit me with lightning

Ah...

Ellie Goulding classic and Instant Party!... enough said <3

Every now and then I like to feature food. Great food. I suppose I'll make an effort to expose the greatness of the San Diego and Southern California food scene. As much as I enjoy alliterations, I enjoy devouring the Snack Shack Steak Sandwich from Hillcrest's Carnita's Snack Shack even more. Sliced ribeye, pepperjack, pickled serrano, chipotle aioli and jalep bread grilled into perfection. Probably one of my go to places in the area if I or my friends cannot find a place to sit down. The place itself really relaxing and chill and can bring your dogs!

If you know me as a gamer, one of my mainstay games is ANET's Guild Wars 2. This is a vaporwave art ode to one of the iconic characters from the MMORPG, Rytlock Brimstone. Also, I am in a process (more like watching tv and on rabbit procrastinating on things) of putting my vaporwave art on tumblr. So watch out for that!

Shaggy - I Need Your Love (Mr. Collipark & Chuckie Remix)

First off, I'd like to thank some person out there for helping me waste the early part of the evening in the world of tumblr, hence finding a creative gif most fitting for this Twerk remix :D

What I love about this remix is the straight up sampling of Juvenile's Back That Azz Up. Yes it was spelled "Azz" on the track and quite a few debates on that subject. In regards to Juvenile's track, I did in fact last weekend have a conversation about the song being one of original or inspirations of Twerk music. As for the original Shaggy song, when I first heard it at the gym, it didn't stick out much for me. But this remix makes it an instant insert into my playlists. And yes, them young bloods need to listen to some throw back jams to appreciate sampling done well or not say a sampled source was like the newest thing ever!

So I made "Vaporwave Art" one of the main tags here because I'm quite fond of doing these pieces and there have been some people suggesting I do more haha. This one I created features two of my dogs. As my sister said, it's cool yet creepy. I think any VHS-esque filter or edit would do that because you know, The Ring has tainted all of us for life.

If you have any ideas or commissions (I don't doing ones for free) please let me know :D

Tove Lo - Talking Body (Gryffin Remix)

I believe when it comes to remixing an Indie track, you have to soothe and caress it in a way where it doesn't lose its spirit. And boy does Gryffin do it well with the Indie type of tracks. Very much a danceable remix yet still calmly sultry.
