After seeing some of fun time vaporwave art, a buddy of mine gave me an art commission to go along with an upcoming track of his. Easy, fun, and getting paid? Sure why not! Although it was relatively easy to get the idea out, the photo teaser above is the third iteration of the project. If you know me, I'm pretty OCD when it comes to color coordination as it reflects in my creative projects so getting that part done took a bit of time too.

Below was the original photo he gave me to use and work around with:

I believe I did a good job giving it the vaporwave interpretation it needed as does he. Also got a nod for the vintage Final Fantasy VII pepsi cup since we are Final Fantasy nerds haha.

Who would have known I would get paid for producing a digital artwork? Perhaps I'll take more commissions just for fun and ducketts.

Freejak - DONT WANNA LOVE U

Want to listen to something refreshing yet feel reminiscent of 90's House? Then take a listen to this blast of a track from Freejak! Definitely blasted down the PCH today! Also enjoy the foodporn picture above. Did not want to love the wine pairings today because if I did, I would be addicted... and yep I'm going to be addicted haha. Yep, food and music both delicious in their own sense :D

ローマンRoman - I Miss You ( w マクロスMACROSS 82-99 )

Above is my "lazy" attempt at vaporwave art while being lazy at the beach on this Lazy Sunday (see the theme going on here ;P). Below is the original shot I took earlier and eventually worked around with it.

And on the note of vaporwave, please do listen to this track and put your mind at ease this Sunday afternoon.

Especia - Foolish

Who would have known, a JPOP group would use a heavy 90's hip hop beat? Loving their music and style as it throws you into a 80's/90's throwback trip. Works for since I'm going to a throwback party tonight! The music and their music videos are indeed very vaporwave-esque and I love every minute of it ^_^ They have live performances posted online too, and I wouldn't mind visiting Japan just to see them. Truly a converted fan haha

Lamp -  A都市の秋 (An Autumn City)

Found the lighter side of JPOP thanks to a lovely anime fan/cosplayer :D. Finding a fitting anime gif took longer than expected because I wanted my interpretation of the feeling of the song to somewhat match with the gif. I did this often in my older posts before I started using my own photo shots of people and places of interest. But doing the former took longer because you can get lost in the world of tumblr, especially looking through anime gifs XD. Don't worry though, every now and then I'll use the occasional anime gif for viewing pleasure.

Anyways, take a listen to Lamp's latest track as it fills you up with all kinds of goodness even though you may not understand the lyrics :)

Odesza - All We Need (Louis Futon Remix) Feat. Shy Girls

Got some time to post some music in between this adventure filled weekend. This was released yesterday by Louis Futon and it's smooth as always. Weekend love sex jam ;)

Tuxedo - Do It (Flaunt Edwards Edit)

Everyone needs to listen to Tuxedo for all that feel good music. Also everyone should listen to this Flaunt Edwards remix to be equally pleased.

A long while ago, I've told one of my best friends and fellow League of Legend buddy that they should make a DJ skin for the champion Sona. And low and behold, years later they finally did! And there's plenty to be excited about it since they have made it an ultimate skin.

First off, it's not only one brand new skin but a set of three in one. With the beautiful stylization of the each DJ type, comes masterfully crafted EDM; Kinetic, Concussive, Ethereal. The best part is that you can toggle the tracks in game so you and your teammates can hear it live! They also have option to mute the music, but why make your ears miss out on the epicness haha.

If you want more information on the upcoming release of this skin check it here: DJ SONA

Also, here are the tracks you can listen to from soundcloud:

Modjo - Lady (Terace Rehash)

There's always something about Modjo's Lady and the plethora of remixes that always seem to be satisfyingly pleasant. Kind of like the type of company I like to keep. Deep house, Future House, whatever you want to call it have been gaining track since last year. It's always nice to see more of the genres you enjoy get their time in the spotlight.

On a side note, I do find women wearing kicks and high-tops equally attractive to those wearing high heels. It comes down how you wear them and present yourself. And then kicks and high-tops are comfy ass fuck and when you're with me it's all about comfort haha.
